Notice on International Labor Day Holiday for International Students
全体国际学生：
根据学校通知，2024年“五一”劳动节放假事宜如下：
5月1日（星期三）至5月5日（星期日）放假调休，共5天。5月11日（星期六）正常上课。祝同学们五一劳动节愉快！

Dear international students,
According to the decisions of the University, the arrangements relating to the International Labor Day Holiday 2024 are as follows:
The 5-day holiday break will start from May 1st (Wednesday) till May 5th (Sunday). Classes will resume on May 11th (Saturday).

Safety Tips for
International Students
1.财物安全/ Safety for Personal Property
不要将姓名、身份证号、信用卡号、银行卡号、网络密码、二维码或者其他私密信息告诉他人。
Do not carelessly reveal your name, ID number, bank card number, passwords of any Internet accounts, QR code or any other sensitive private information to unknown people
2.防止金融诈骗/ Alert for financial frauds.
警惕冒充国家机关工作人员、银行工作人员、公司客服人员，通过电话、网络和短信等方式，设置骗局，诱导打款或转账的犯罪行为。如碰到类似情况，请及时拨打110报警处理。
Be mindful that government departments, public security bureaus, banks and client services of commercial companies will never request you for money transfer by phone, text message or Email. Financial frauds may come in various unexpected forms. If you have encountered such scenarios, it is wise to call police emergency number 110 for help.
3. 交通安全/Traffic Safety
严格遵守交通法规。校内不允许使用摩托车和大功率的电动车。绝不允许将电动车和电动车电池带到宿舍内充电。
Strictly abide by traffic laws and regulations. Motorcycle and High power E-bike are not allowed either on campus. E-bikes and batteries of the E－bike are not allowed to be taken into any buildings.
4. 宗教活动/Religious Activity
请各位同学在《中华人民共和国境内外国人宗教活动管理规定实施细则》指导下开展宗教活动。在校园等公共场所，不能从事传教、不能组织宗教集会等活动、不允许散发宗教宣传品。
Any religious activities should be conducted in conformity with the Rules for the Implementation of the Provisions on the Administration of Religious Activities of Aliens within the Territory of the People's Republic of China. Handing out religious leaflets, missionizing and organizing religious activities or assemblies are not allowed on campus or other public places.
5. 禁止毒品/ Stay away from drugs
在中国，任何涉毒行为都将会受到法律的严厉惩罚。包括走私、贩卖、运输、制造、非法持有、提供、吸食或注射毒品，强迫、引诱或欺骗他人使用毒品等等。大麻在中国属于毒品，严禁非法使用。
Any drug-related activities will lead to serious legal consequences in China, such as smuggling, selling, transporting, providing, ingesting or injecting drug or forcing/enticing others to use drugs. Marijuana is a type of drug in China. Smoking or using marijuana is illegal.
